Alessandro Adamo
BIOGRAPHY
Alessandro is an Italian composer who blends contemporary classical styles with jazz idioms and cinematic atmospheres. His works range from rhythm-driven intensity to lyrical and introspective moments.
With Parenthesis, a work for large orchestra, he was awarded at the Toru Takemitsu Composition Award 2024 following a concert performance in Tokyo by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Percussionist of classical formation, and alumnus of the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, Alessandro studied composition with Piero Niro at the Conservatory of Music of Campobasso (Italy). Since 2020 he has received commissions from ensembles, concert associations including Amici della Musica of Campobasso and Padova (Italy), and as part of international composition competitions.
His works have been performed in Italy, Austria, Portugal, France, United States and Japan.
